Getting inspired to overcome challenges

November 22, 2018
We can make ourselves the victims or victors of circumstances or situations. Pushing though the resistance towards our vision takes faith, guts and a don’t stop attitude! Sadly, most people will let circumstances or situations hold them in life instead of acting through them. Those who allow themselves to be held find their mindset becomes reinforced with beliefs of struggle, can’t do, not fair and associated with of negative emotions.
You don't need to go there! Tap into inspiration so you can keep going when the challenges seem tough, focus through to your vision and keep going. Remember to get help, you are not alone!
Several years ago, while attending Nick Williams Inspired Entrepreneur group a woman shared a story which can only be called, inspiring.
She came to the UK from Angola at the age of thirteen with her three younger sisters, her parents had been killed and they came as refugees. Following her education, she was not allowed to work as she did not have a work permit, but desperate to earn to look after her sisters she got herself jobs illegally and at the same time found herself taking in and fostering children from different backgrounds and cultures in her community. She also looked after an American millionaire who came to the UK and lost all his £6 million and found himself on the streets of London.
She was caught working for the fourth time as a manager in Harrods and was handcuffed in the store and taken to the local policed station where they held her for seven days. While there she did translations for the police as she could speak three languages. She was finally told if she was caught again, she would be deported to Angola. So, she began helping charities and went onto university to study a degree where her mantra was "be the best" regardless of your circumstances or situation in life. She found people wanted to know her as she was achieving straight A's.
The university asked her to mentor students who we're struggling with university life and they became successful in their studies and high achievers. As a recognition for her work she was invited to have tea with prince Charlie's.
After eighteen years she finally received resident status. She now helps others achieve being the best they can be regardless of their situation, life, circumstances or issues. She is also a personal and business coach and entrepreneur. Her name ………….. Rita Roberts.
